You Can Help
-
Report a spill
Contact San Juan County Sheriff at 360-378-4151.
Ask Sheriff's dispatcher to page IOSA.
Be sure to provide a way for IOSA personnel to contact you, such as phone number,
street address, or email address.
- Become a responder:
Please contact
IOSA and provide your contact information. We will get back to you regarding training opportunities.
Please look at our calendar page.
Contact information is at the bottom of each IOSA web page.
- Provide shoreline access points:
Shoreline
residents with shore access points for personnel or equipment or who
may have viewpoints for spill/response assessment can greatly
facilitate our spill response effectiveness. Please contact IOSA so we
can add information about your site to our access, launch, and
viewpoint map. This information is kept for spill response only.
- Provide support through
donations:
Here
is a partial list of things that we need and use:
Anchors, lines (ropes), gloves, rain

supplies, boats, Personal Flotation Devices (PFD's), fuel/oil for
boats, trailers, use of your trucks and trailers, Easy-Up™ style
canopies, pet carriers, drivers, food and beverages provisions during
a large scale spill response, and many other things. A more complete
