Islands' Oil Spill Association

* Yellow DOE trailers – these equipment trailers hold boom, anchors, boom lights, sorbents, bags, PPE.  IOSA has access to all 5
   and is responsible for maintenance, supplies replacement, etc. on 4.
 

IOSA Vessels:

“Sea Goose” ----- Lopez Island, north end at Spencer’s Landing Marina, Shoal Bay, 45’ powered barge w/2-130 hp Volvo 
  outdrives, diesel - 1000' boom, 6 anchor systems, gas detection meters, 10-minute supplied air hoods

“Green Heron” --- San Juan Island, Port of Friday Harbor Marina, 23’ Beachmaster landing craft w/115 hp & 8.9 hp outboards -
  3 anchor systems, PPE

“Auklet” ---------- Lopez Island, on trailer at Kielhaven (temp. location), 16’ workskiff w/85 hp Suzuki outboard 

“Kinglet” -------- San Juan Island, on trailer at southwest end of Friday Harbor Airport, 18’ workskiff w/50 hp outboard

“Scoter” ---------- Orcas Island, on trailer at private residence of IOSA responders, 13’ workskiff w/30 hp outboard


Additional Response Equipment/Supplies
located on trailers & in different areas throughout the islands: rope mop skimmer & basin, Skimpak skimmer, generator, 2” diesel pump, peristaltic pump, manual pumps, VHF marine radios, anchors, buoys, line, shackles & other hardware, boom lights, sorbents & spill bags, PFDs, 55-gal & various size drums, wildlife pens & supplies
